Columbus, Ohio – [September 27, 2023] – Johnson’s Real Ice Cream, the Central Ohio based and beloved 4th generation family-owned and operated ice cream company, is excited to announce its 4th Columbus area location. The new ice cream shop, set to open early 2024, will be located at 1325 Grandview Ave at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Grandview Avenue across from the Grandview Café. The new store will join the ranks of three other successful Central Ohio locations, including Dublin, New Albany and the original shop in Bexley.

The Grandview location will offer the same mouth-watering array of flavors that Johnson’s Real Ice Cream is known for, including classics like Butter Pecan, Mint Chocolate Chip, and their famous Columbus Crunch– as well as some Grandview exclusives. Additionally, customers can look forward to seasonal specials and unique, rotating flavors that keep ice cream enthusiasts coming back for more.

In addition to scooping premium ice creams, Johnson’s Real Ice Cream also offers ice cream cakes, novelty items, ice cream sandwiches and a variety of dairy-free options including sorbets and ice creams made with coconut milk ensuring everyone can enjoy the delicious flavors that Johnson’s Real Ice Cream offers.

In addition to being a community hub for ice cream lovers, the Grandview location will offer opportunities for local engagement through school Spirit Nights and programming throughout the year. 

It’s also worth noting that Johnson’s Real Ice Cream has set its sights on expansion into an additional Columbus suburb in 2024 and is actively engaged in the search for suitable locations. “We encourage Central Ohio residents to stay tuned as the possibility of another Johnson’s Real Ice Cream shop potentially landing in the Columbus area is on the horizon,” said Wilcoxon.
