Westland Mall Drive-In Returns with Live Music

Westland Mall Drive in

Drive-in to operate throughout the spring with both National and Local live musical acts.

COLUMBUS, Ohio– March 17, 2021-Following a successful live music series at the Westland Mall Drive-in last fall, Prime Social Group is happy to announce the venue will reopen weekends throughout the spring with a musically diverse line-up of both national and local acts.

“We received an amazing response from concert-goers that missed having live music in their lives and we are thrilled to be able to once again fill that void with the spring edition of the Westland Mall Drive-in,” said Zach Ruben, Co-founder of Prime Social Group.

In addition to fan response, the drive-in received an equally positive response from west side business owners that saw an uptick in business on concert days, and people in the entertainment sector that were able to go back to work. “Knowing Prime Social Group has and continues to help so many with the drive-in is an amazing feeling,” said Ruben.

The drive-in will take on the same format as in the fall with Admission per Vehicle with the ability to update the admission model as COVID-19 regulations update and orders start to relax.  Guests to the drive-in can expect to enjoy all the trappings of a traditional music venue like LED screens flanking the main performance stage, merch areas, food trucks, and concessions, FM transmitters for in-car audio, as well as, a 15×20 parking and tailgating space.

Each ticket admits one standard passenger vehicle (car, truck, SUV) with up to (4) passengers, with additional passenger tickets being offered for a maximum vehicle capacity of up to six (6) people per vehicle.

PSG continues to work closely with local officials in order to comply with all COVID-19 guidelines. Protocols in place include hand-sanitizing stations, cleaning and sanitizing of lavatory areas every hour, social distancing, and on-site concession delivery. Facial coverings are also required of all attendees, staff, and crew when outside of vehicles or while in any common area.

The full concert calendar is forthcoming, however; two shows are officially announced and now on sale.

About Westland Mall Drive-in

The venue, located across from the Hollywood Casino at the intersection of West Broad and Georgesville Road offers the perfect setting for this reimagined outdoor live music and event space.

The drive-in, which opened in the fall of 2020 will continue operating throughout the spring, and will feature local and national acts from a variety of musical genres. The venue is also available to outside organizations and nonprofits looking for an open-air location in the age of COVID-19.

Unlike traditional concert tickets that are purchased individually, each ticket to the Westland Mall Drive-In admits one standard passenger vehicle (car, truck, SUV) with up to (4) passengers, with additional passenger tickets being offered for a maximum vehicle capacity of up to six (6) people per vehicle. (As a rule of thumb, there must be a legal seat and seatbelt for all the passengers within the vehicle. In addition, per COVID-19 compliance, any party with over four (4) people must all be from the same household.) The venue has the ability to evolve into a “pod-style” or general admission format as COVID-19 regulations permit.

The venue is also available for outside rentals. For more information, please contact Zach Ruben at
